Canadian-born, Barcelona-based Michael Swaney is a multi-disciplinary artist who moves between mediums seamlessly to create art with a rich, child-like curiosity that showcases a spirit for adventure. Collage, ceramics, painting and video are just some of the ways in which Swaney’s visual world is created, fusing colour, form and texture into his bright and playful paintings. Channeling childhood memories and the subconscious mind, his creative universe is created via graphic compositions and geometric forms, always staying true to his rebellious nature.
