This highly coveted location is soon to gain an enchanting addition, as luxury wellness-led sanctuary, Saltmoore will open its doors next week, charming guests with its unique blend of understated elegance and coastal chic.
Welcoming guests from November 14th, Saltmoore, formally Raithwaite Sandsend, will comprise of 72 stylish bedrooms across two sister hotels; Saltmoore House and The Beach House, with plush fabrics, warm textures, and curated colour schemes charming guests with an authenticity mirrored throughout the vast and stunning property.
Merging high-end aesthetics with rustic charm, interior designers Sapin Studio have taken the lead on the hotel’s aesthetic, creating tasteful interiors which are both nostalgic and contemporary, opulent yet authentic. Saltmoore’s architecture effortlessly blends with the local landscape, creating harmony between hotel and surroundings. From its stone façade to sunlit terraces with views stretching out over the North Sea, every inch of the hotel is designed with a keen sense of natural beauty.
Set in an 85-acre woodland estate, the hotel’s elegance doesn’t end with the interiors. Saltmoore’s dining experience is set to be a force, serving up a standout food and beverage offering that will celebrate innovative British cooking.
Led by highly established Head Chef Adam Maddock in collaboration with Michelin-starred Consulting Executive Chef Tommy Banks, guests and locals alike will be able to enjoy Saltmoore’s two bars and four onsite culinary venues, including a fine dining restaurant, Brasserie, Wellness Café and and eventually a pizza restaurant.
Their farm-to-fork approach with locally sourced produce and seasonal dishes is sure to be a feast for the senses, whilst organically aligning with Saltmoore’s spa, the Wellness Café will focus on a holistic and elevated approach to health food with bone broths, seasonal salads, and smoothies.
The Sanctuary is Saltmoore’s luxury spa offering, providing a moment of tranquility courtesy of its indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, immersive cryo chamber, including Brass Monkey ice bath, and relaxation room. A holistic haven for those looking to truly unwind with a choice of unique Wildsmith treatments designed to support recovery, repair and balance.
